The 2024 Pudong Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference, organized by the Shanghai Pudong New Area Economic and Science & Technology Commission, was officially inaugurated at the New Area People’s Government on November 29, 2024.

Senior officials attending the event included Wu Jincheng, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Deputy Secretary of Pudong New Area District Committee and District Mayor; Luo Dajin, Director of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission; Academician Zhang Jie, Chairman of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, former President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Director of the Li Zhengdao Institute; and Wu Qiang, Member of Pudong New Area District Committee and Deputy District Mayor. Together, they launched the 2024 Pudong Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference series.

Pudong has cultivated a fertile ground for innovation, attracted a concentration of innovative talents, and fostered a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, giving rise to a steady stream of high-quality technology enterprises.
